As is always a possibility at the green hell, things didn't quite go to plan for the Prestanda NOMAD team as a whole at Nürburgring this past weekend.

Three teams were put together and ready to attack the 147 corner track over as many over 8 minute laps as possible in 24 hours, but two cars had retired before the beginning of the third hour.

The #561 car of Jason Dilworth, Chris Chadderton, Matthew Doyle and Daniel Gilding suffered from a GT4 car that was over-eager to get out of the way and ended up losing their car on the grass, causing huge damage in the cars second stint after a solid start from Chris.

The #562 of Ryan Hamilton, Taylor Lane, Pablo Arteaga and Håkon Lindmo suffered similarly, with contact in the first stint and a mistake at the second pitstop putting their race to an end early.

That left only the #563 BMW of Nic Veltenaar, Jon Williams, Dean Timms and Ayden Refaie to push on with the race – and push on they did. This car managed to survive until the halfway point without any issues at all before a brush with the barriers in the night started to unwind things a little.

Despite the setback, the crew continued through the night and back into the daylight hours. A further piece of contact around the 3/4 mark put the race into it's place, with the drivers aiming at keeping their top 10 finish. There was the opportunity for a potential 9th position late on in the race, with a battle right through the last two stints, but it wasn't to be and the #563 finished a very respectable 10th place ensuring the only result for the team for this event.
