Lachlan Cooley

Biography

I’ve been watching motorsport since the day I was born and sim racing since mid 2019.

I'm currently studying a Bachelors and Masters of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Queensland (UQ).

Alongside my studies I am the Head of Aerodynamics at UQ Racing (20th in the world FS rankings) as well as their Endurance and AutoX Driver.

Additionally I am working as an Undergraduate Engineer at Shell V-Power Racing Team who are one of the most successful teams in the Australian Supercars Championship. In this role I am involved in a variety of aspects such as Car Design, Performance Simulation as well as Data Engineering.

Here's hoping I'm able to use that experience to help NOMAD get the best results in all events we compete in.
