Driver Comments

"I'm really excited for my "home race." It's even more thrilling to do it with my mate and fellow Aussie, Matt Distill. Although the car will be different for us as mainly prototype drivers, I believe we can figure it out by the weekend. We've had limited preparation so far, but we'll put in a lot of effort this week during practice, and hopefully, we'll achieve a good result this weekend." Jason M Close Jason M Close
"Really looking forward to the Bathurst 12hr again. It's nice to team up with Jason for the second year in a row. I'm hoping for an improvement from last year. Unfortunately, my testing will be limited due to work commitments, but I hope to find the pace as the race develops!" Matt Distill Matt Distill
"It has been a while since I've driven a GT3 car properly in an event, and what better place than Bathurst for 12 hours? And who better to partner up with than the master of the mountain himself. We have a solid setup ready, which we'll tweak a little through the final week, but mostly it's just about getting comfortable and getting to that last hour in one piece. Bring it on."
