Pablo Arteaga

Biography

I was born in 1981 and raised in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and moved to Cologne (Germany) in October 2021.

Started virtual racing way back in the early 90s, and moved slowly from offline to online competition. From the 2000s to the early 2010s I competed mostly on the rFactor platform and then come to a stop until 2020 when I not only came back to sim racing but also got started at iRacing. At this point is when I started getting more and more enthusiastic about endurance racing, not only on the driving side but also on the team spirit side, the work on the strategies and all that involves a type of racing which is not only about going as fast as possible.

During my first year of iRacing I focused mostly on GT and Prototype cars but, with a move to Europe, my sim racing career came to a stop once again until I was settled in my new country. Now in Germany, I took the advantage to get proper sim racing equipment and built my first sim racing rig which I am enjoying absolutely to the fullest. The first six months back in racing came with plenty of action, a 24h of Le Man's race, two appearances in the IVRA Endurance Championship, one in Majors Endurance (MTEC), and the official "10h of Suzuka" event.

Racing and improving as much as possible is the goal for the near future.
